THE FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF MOTHER MARY
The Nativity of Mother Mary was celebrated at St John the Evangelist Church, on 8 Sep. 2019. At 7:00 am, all the parishioners gathered near the Grotto of Mary to offer the flowers. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, and Fr Lawrence Mendonca, Co celebrated the mass along with the main Celebrant Rev Fr Roshan Dcunha. The new corn was blessed during the celebration and distributed to everyone. After the mass, sugarcane and sweets were distributed to all.
