Good Friday
The faithful in Pangla celebrated Good Friday with Fasting and with much devotion. The Good Friday service began at 5.30 p.m. Parish priest Rev Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves was the main celebrant who did the unveiling and veneration of the cross, Rev Fr Roshan Dcunha, Rev Fr. Alfred Rayan Dsouza, Rev Fr Lawrence Mendonca were the co celebrants, Fr Ferdinand Preached the word of god focusing on the calls us to forgive others, to surrender ourselves into the hands of God, to accept others, and to do our mission faithfully. No Eucharist is celebrated on Good Friday, but communion is distributed to the faithful. The ceremony came to an end at 7.10 p.m.
